This ONE Practice Could Add 6 Figures to Your Business This Year
While everyone else is building funnels, the smartest businesses are sending 20-second text messages.
The cost to acquire a new customer has gone up by as much as 60% over the last two years.
And yet, everyone is so obsessed with more leads, ignoring the thousands of dollars that already exists inside their current business.
“But I don’t have anyone to follow up with.”
I hear this claim a lot, and here’s my question right back:
Do you have contacts in your phone?
Do you have a list of people that have booked calls with you from the last 6 months?
Do you have a list of people who have attended one of your live trainings or masterclasses in the last year?
Do you have happy clients who are getting results?
Do you have contacts from your corporate job who might know someone who could use your services?
Do you have customers you’ve worked with inside different offers in the past?
Anyone that’s opted in for a lead magnet of yours?
If you answered yes to ANY of those questions…you have plenty of people to follow up with. :)
The real reason most small businesses aren’t growing is simpler and harder to hear: most business owners are reaching out to ZERO people per day.
They expect all of their marketing to do the selling for them.
They’re sending one email to 5,000 people, seeing a 30% open rate on their dashboard (which is actually closer to 15% after iOS adjustments, which means maybe 12 people saw the offer), and wondering why nothing is converting.
They’re creating all the content, spending hours building funnels, chasing new new new…
Completely ignoring the people who already know them, already trust them, and are already primed to buy.
I’d venture to guess that by properly installing a SIMPLE system for ongoing follow up, to the people who already raised their hand and expressed interest in some capacity (even those who haven’t, but can vouch for you as a person/business owner), you could uncover an additional 6 or maybe even 7-figures in your business.
If I had to start over from ZERO today, I wouldn’t turn to social media or cold outreach.
Here’s what I’d do:
I’d reach out to every single past client with a simple message to reconnect.
I’d ask them if they know anyone they could personally introduce me to for business or visibility collaborations.
I’d audit my calendar to see who I had a sales call with in the last couple months that never closed.
I’d go through every single phone # I have, scroll through my DM conversations, and connections on social to identify people I’ve spoken to about services in the past.
I’d scrub my CRM, payment processor, Manychat, email list — identify allll of the leads who have purchased small or large, opted in for something in exchange, or are actively engaging and clicking on my content.
And, I wouldn’t overthink what to say.
I’d approach the conversation just as if I was reconnecting with an old friend in person.
I’d be a human.
What business owners don’t realize is that referrals close 69% faster than cold leads.
etention rate increases of just 5% can grow profit by 25–95%.
Loyalty leaders grow two and a half times faster than businesses obsessed only with new acquisition.
Most businesses never work the bullseye from the inside out, starting with people they’ve already invested time and money to build rapport with. They start from the outside ring cold leads, new audiences, new platforms, and wonder why they’re exhausted and broke.
The follow-up message most people are too scared to send
During a live masterclass we ran this past week, I walked through live examples of re-engagement messages. Simple, low-pressure one-liners.
“Is [the thing they said they wanted] still a priority for you?”
That’s it.
That’s how you make a 20-second sale.
The reason your outreach isn’t converting is because you are reaching people who you don’t yet have the buy-in from.
With a refocus on follow up, we’ve had clients this week closing 5-figure sales, landing $100K investment opportunities, $15K reactivations, $50K commissions… with literally minutes of effort.
You have to remember that we are operating in a time where AI has made content creation widespread and infinitely scalable. Which means, people don’t trust what they’re seeing online the way they used to.
What that means for you is that the currency is shifting. Mass marketing is getting more expensive and less effective. And the thing that’s becoming more valuable, the competitive advantage of this era, is the willingness to actually talk to another human being like a human being.
Most of your competitors aren’t doing it.
They assume the lead magnet, the 3-email sequence, or the Instagram carousel will sell for them, when majority of people have likely opted in and forgot all about what they signed up for in the first place, aren’t opening their emails, or even seeing their content on social.
You might think this is a crisis. I believe it is a massive opportunity.
We just wrapped two full sessions covering the Miracle Hour system, including the exact messages, the re-engagement frameworks, the bullseye model for working your warm market, and live coaching on real scenarios people brought to the call.

In an era when everyone is talking to automated AI bots, the most radical thing you can do is be human.

YUUP!…I call it DBR - DataBase Reactivation…there’s a strategy I put together for my clients (real estate professionals, investors) named “The Sleeping Beauty” strategy where I go back through the thousands or TENS of THOUSANDS (most of the time) email list of passed clients, old listings, opt in’s that weren’t nurtured enough, YOU NAME IT!!
They struggle with FUFS - Follow Up Fatigue Syndrome - and they actually suck at it!!
On average, a lead will need anywhere from 6-13 touch points before they buy…
Getting those eyeballs on the offer for those 6-13 times is the trick!!…
